How long is the delay between me and my audience when I'm hosting a stream?

Just about 10 seconds! So whatever you say, your audience will hear you on average 10 seconds later.

Why is there a delay?

It takes Superpeer a little bit of time to process your feed before presenting it to your audience.

Is there anything I can do to decrease the delay?

Unfortunately not. While we recommend that you have a strong, stable internet connection to avoid issues when streaming, your connection speed has no impact on the 10 second delay.

Do all streaming sites have a delay?

Yep! A short delay is standard across all streaming platforms.
