If you want to increase your audience, you can try multistreaming to YouTube while hosting a stream on Superpeer. Superpeer allows you to stream to your YouTube channel with one click and handles the rest automatically.

How to multistream to YouTube?

1) Log into your Superpeer account.

2) Go to the Integrations page on your dashboard.

3) Connect your YouTube channel. You will have to sign in with your YouTube credentials and authorize Superpeer to use certain permissions on YouTube.

Once it is connected, you can select your YouTube channel as a destination on the stream creation page when you create an upcoming stream.

Turn the toggle on to select multistreaming.

The visibility of your live stream on YouTube will be automatically set based on your stream type.

How should I choose the visibility of my live stream on YouTube?

If you are scheduling a free live stream for your subscribers on Superpeer, the visibility of your live stream on YouTube will be set as Public.

If you are scheduling a live stream with an additional payment or for your paid subscribers only, the visibility of your live stream on YouTube will be set as Unlisted.

You can always change the visibility settings of your live stream on YouTube, but if you are scheduling a live stream with an additional payment on Superpeer, we recommend you set your YouTube visibility as "Unlisted" and share the stream link directly with those who have paid for the stream.

Likewise, if you are scheduling a live stream just for your paid subscribers on Superpeer, we recommend you set your YouTube visibility as "Unlisted" and share the stream link directly with your paid subscribers.

When I start my live stream on Superpeer, does it also start on YouTube simultaneously?

Yes, your live stream starts on your YouTube channel simultaneously.

Can I see YouTube watchers on my Superpeer live stream?

Yes, people watching the live stream on YouTube will be counted as Visitors. You can see how many people are watching on YouTube via the Visitor counter in the Participants tab of your Superpeer live stream.

Can I see both YouTube and Superpeer chat at the same time?

YouTube chat will also be integrated, and you can follow both discussions from your Superpeer stream tab. People chatting on YouTube will be displayed with a YouTube badge on their avatar so that you will know who is chatting from which platform.

When I stop my live stream on Superpeer, does it also stop on YouTube simultaneously?

Yes, once you stop your live stream on Superpeer, the live stream on YouTube will also stop simultaneously.

What happens if I disconnect my YouTube account?

Once you disconnect your YouTube account, you cannot choose YouTube as a destination while scheduling a live stream.

If you have existing scheduled streams on YouTube, they will be canceled automatically. If you have an active multi-stream at the time of disconnection, the active live event will not be affected.

What if I want to cancel a particular multistream to YouTube?

You can cancel a specific multistream in the stream settings in your Superpeer dashboard. All you need to do is to turn off the YouTube toggle in stream settings, and you're done. You don't need to disconnect your YouTube account just to cancel a particular multistream.

Do you have YouTube connection issues?

To connect your YouTube account to Superpeer, you should have an active channel on your Youtube account. You cannot connect your YouTube account to Superpeer if you don't have an active channel on your YouTube account or if you don't enable live streaming on YouTube.

How to create a channel on YouTube

  1. Go to your YouTube dashboard.

  2. Click on your profile avatar

  3. Click on the "Create channel" link in the menu.

YouTube requires that you enable live streaming on your channel. It's very easy! Follow these steps:

  1. Go to your YouTube live dashboard

  2. Follow YouTube's steps to enable live streaming.

3. Once live streaming is enabled, return to Superpeer and connect again. It may take up to 24 hrs to be approved.
